Foley & Lardner rolls out Harvey firmwide across 1,100+ lawyers in 27 offices
Foley & LardnerFoley & Lardner LLP, with more than 1,100 lawyers across 27 offices worldwide, rolled out Harvey firmwide following a successful pilot and evaluation. Harvey joins Foley's curated AI tool stack alongside Microsoft Copilot, CoCounsel, Draftwise, Relativity aiR, Patlytics, and the firm's own in-house-built FoleyChat assistant. AI initiatives are led by a lawyer-driven AI Steering Committee (formed 2025) chaired by partner Christopher Cain, plus a dedicated Director of Practice Innovation role filled in January 2026. Use cases span contract review, due diligence, legal research, drafting, litigation review, and patent workflows.
""AI is transforming how we practice law but our approach is AI-first, not AI-only. For us, the starting point is not the tool. It's the legal workflow, the client need, and where quality, speed, consistency, or predictability can improve." — Christopher Cain, Chair, Foley's AI Steering Committee"
