Anthropic launches Claude for Legal — 20+ integrations, 12 role-specific plugins for Big Law

Anthropic formally launched Claude for Legal — a dedicated AI offering for law firms, in-house teams, and legal professionals. Includes 20+ new integrations with legal workflow tools, 12 role-specific AI plugins (M&A due diligence, employment handbook drafting, etc.), and cross-app Microsoft 365 integration embedding Claude across Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. MCP connectors to DocuSign, Thomson Reuters Westlaw, Box, Everlaw, Ironclad, NetDocuments, and Relativity. Claude Opus 4.7 scored 90.9% on Harvey's BigLaw Bench. Over 20,000 legal professionals attended the launch webinar.
