Kirkland & Ellis and Palantir Launch AI-Powered Fund Formation Engine
Kirkland & EllisKirkland & Ellis and Palantir Technologies announced a multiyear partnership to build a proprietary 'fund formation engine' on Palantir's AIP, giving more than 1,000 Kirkland investment funds lawyers a custom platform for fund documentation, side letters, obligation tracking, and closings. Unlike off-the-shelf legal AI, the tool is built around Kirkland's own institutional knowledge and is the first public rollout under the firm's $500M AI strategy.
""Private equity fundraising has become significantly more complex... We are building this revolutionary fund formation engine to help clients navigate that complexity more efficiently across the full lifecycle of a fundraise and beyond." — Erica Berthou, Partner and Executive Committee Member, Kirkland & Ellis"
